A dab straw (also called a nectar collector or honey straw) is a simple handheld tool used for dabbing concentrates like wax, shatter, or rosin. Instead of using a full dab rig, it lets you take smaller, direct hits straight from your concentrate container.
Here’s how it works 👇
- 🔹 Design: It looks like a tube or straw, usually made of glass, quartz, silicone, or titanium.
- 🔹 Tip: One end (the dab tip) is heated with a torch or an electric coil until it’s hot.
- 🔹 Use: Once heated, you lightly touch the tip to your concentrate while inhaling through the other end the vapor travels up the straw.
- 🔹 Types:
- Traditional dab straws require a torch to heat the tip.
- Electric dab straws (e-straws) battery-powered with built-in heating, no torch needed.
- 🔹 Benefits: Portable, easy to clean, and great for small, controlled hits.
